Job Description


  • 40 hours per week

Whaiora is committed to delivering integrated health and social services to the Wairarapa area.  We are a Very Low-Cost Access practice and Cornerstone Accredited. 

We are looking for a receptionist to join our friendly team.

Skills required:

  • Understanding of tikanga Māori and able to demonstrate practical everyday use 
  • An advantage but not essential  - Te reo me ōna tikanga,  user of MedTech 30/ MedTech Evolution and Microsoft 
  • Excellent customer service both face-to-face and on the phone
  • Be adaptable and able to multitask in a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent organisational skills with an attention to detail
  • A good fit for our team

Please note that this role that will require safety checking through the police vetting system under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.

As per the Government mandate, you must be vaccinated against Covid 19 and will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status.
